Brent's- I don't have to be right all the time, but when I argue the toss over something I do like to have it based on actual facts. Got no problem admitting when I'm wrong either, even before I get pulled up on it.
I wouldn't have bothered pulling you up either if it was just one mistake, but you seem regularly vocal in your displeasure of the running of our club but constantly are incorrect on the claims you base it on.

Well that's odd as it only took about a minute as I knew it was near the start of the thread.

There's only one person looking like a dickhead on this thread, BRENTY.
Here's a clue: It's the person who thought it would be a good idea to spend 8 mins of their life flicking through a politics thread on a football forum to prove their pathetic point.

Oh that old chestnut. Gutted? Funny how many times I had that one thrown at me.
And as I said it seemed like Southampton were down a lot longer, genuine mistake, you are a bit of a sad prick though who has to be right every time even when you are not, but is very quick to try and ridicule others over nothing.

Southampton cannot keep pulling managerial rabbits out of the hat. Poch followed by Koeman was their peak and Puell was a standard lower.

Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, Rd.
Now, back to Southampton and their decades in the lower leagues.

Seemed like they were down a long time But, longer than that. Not fussed about it though. Haven't they been in the EL proper 3 times? Still last couple of seasons.
Alvin, shall I post up the election thread where I made you look a proper cunt?

you really should take a moment to check your facts before posting mate, they have been in the europa league twice, that's hardly 'regular'.
as for being in the lower leagues for decades, they have been a top flight team for 32 of the past 39 seasons you berk!

i think it actually says more about the system they employ and how they run the club, which if you read those two articles below sounds unlike how most clubs are run, certainly in terms of selecting managers.

They still finished above us again as they have every season bar the first (maybe not even then?) since we both came up together. Also got to a cup final and are regular Europa leaguers. This after spending decades in the lower leagues. They have had to change managers and sell half their first team every summer, are no where near as wealthy or big as us yet are miles ahead of us in every department. Says a lot about our owners.

you say it's a bit underwhelming, but Southampton put a lot of effort in to scouting the right manager for the system they employ at the club. there's some good insight in these two articles:

It can't be too great considering they only finished 1 point ahead of us last season.
Jump off the bandwagon, lads. It's all aboard the Everton bus now.
